Costa rica Don eli tomodachi

In 2021, @triupcoffee began a coffee processing project in collaboration with World Brewers Cup Champion 2016 @tetsukasuya . Combining the efforts of Tetsu, Tri-Up, farmers, and producers came the first Tomodachi process coffee. Tomodachi means friendship in Japanese and shows the collaborative efforts of everybody involved to produce amazing coffee that’s perfumey, sweet, and fruity.

Fast forward a couple of years and Tetsu has designed another process – Yabai, which is a japanese term that loosely translates into ‘awesome’ or ‘amazing’. Based on the experience from the Tomodachi process, Yabai process was designed to take the fermentation flavours even further, enhancing more complex fruit notes and sweetness.
